Barline & Grindline
Specification

The Barline & Grindline family of laser diameter micrometers has been specifically designed for on-line use in the Mechanics Industry, to measure the finished diameter of centre-less ground components. The single and dual axis gauges provide 100 % dimensional monitoring and process control. The measurements are compared to the pre-set limits as well as tolerance alarms generated for part sorting.

Features/Benefits

  1. Self-calibration ensures drift free measurement and puts an end to re-calibration procedures that are required with other gauges.
  2. Range of product cleaning devices to remove lubricant as well as protective air purges windows.
  3. Data can be stored in memory and processed to generate statistics for your job.
  4. The Grindline system comes with a conveyor belt to transport the piece through the laser.
  5. Rugged construction means years and years of trouble free operation even in harsh environments backed by a 3 year warranty.
  6. Product library means that new jobs can be set up in 2-3 seconds with no need to program the nominal size or tolerance limits.
  7. Feed back to the grinder allows process control, keeping the product in specification by adjusting the wheels.
  8. Measures up to 10 different diameters and checks for taper.
  9. Rejecting alarms for over and undersize components.
