Capable of measuring speed and length with a typical accuracy better than +/- 0.05%, µSpeed is the ideal gauge for replacing contact tachometers which tend to tackle measurement errors caused by slippage, chatter or vibration, dirt build-up and day to day wear problems. The most compact and easy to handle in class µSpeed uses proven laser doppler technology. Thus it has no moving parts, is maintenance free and permanently calibrated, resulting in significant time and money savings.

Applications

µSpeed Smart-Cable works with almost any type of cable and wire, independent from diameter or gloss level and whether the material is blank, stranded, isolated or coloured. The system is suited for all metals and plastics as well as for a wide range of applications including, continuous online control, cut-to-length control and differential speed measurement.

 

  1. Flooring and Carpet: cut-to-length applications (carpet, PVC, linoleum, astro turf, ….)
