Proscan Magnum "Retrofit" 3m x 2m scan area
The Proscan Magnum family has been extended with a Retrofit model. This system can be mounted on an existing surface table, tension leveling line or inspection line.
Make wedges and straight edges redundant!
This system offers the same facilities as the original Proscan Magnum i.e. Wave length, wave height and I-units. Options such as cross bow, length, width and diagonals are also available.
Retro comes in two versions; top and side mounted. Either version can be employed 
depending on accessibility.

Innovations in mechanical design makes installation and alignment very easy, even if the surface table isn't perfectly flat.
Proscan Magnum uses optical measurement techniques. A laser mounted on a gantry system, scans up to 15 profile lines on the strip with a speed of 1m/sec taking measurements every mm
The values are presented for each profile line together with a 3D display and a plan view as shown in the image to the right.
Proscan Magnum is a complete shape measurement system that gives unprecedented results. These systems are currently being used by the worlds leading aluminium mills, such as Alcoa, Hindalco, Bridgnorth and Star Aluminium

Scantron secures big order from TATA Steel
TATA Steel, a world leading steel maker, has placed an order for three RDMS mill gauges for installation on their Kocks line at the Thrybergh mill.
The RDMS is the world leading mill gauge with over 100 installations world wide.
